Emulating A Professional Photographer

Course Goals and Achievements

At the start of this semester, my primary goals included exploring the differences between digital and film photography, as I have primarily shot with film for artistic purposes. I also aimed to improve my photo framing and lighting techniques, which I believed were essential skills for enhancing the quality of my photography. Additionally, I hoped to revisit my Sony Cybershot, a camera I cherished in my earlier photography days, while simultaneously building my portfolio.

Reflecting on these goals, I feel I have made significant strides toward achieving them. Through the multimodal presentation I gained

insight into the history of photography. I learned how to focus on framing and lighting, which led to noticeable improvements in my images. Finally, I was able to use my Sony Cybershot again and my Pentax K1000. This course has significantly improved my photography skills and understanding of photography.
